Honestbee Review: 13 Reasons Why you should Try Honestbee Philippines
There are a lot of reasons why I love Honestbee PH and listed in this Honestbee review are the 13 reasons why I am with Honestbee for long if not for good.
Honestbee saves time, offers convenience, provides more savings and last but not the least (my favorite!) – they have referral and promo coupon codes.
As part of personal finance tips, I listed all the Honestbee promo codes down below. I think it’s the 13th – saving the best for last. Enjoy! 🙂
1. Honestbee Saves you Time.
I always hear that time is your most valuable asset.
Well, I agree. Every time there is an opportunity to save my time doing recurring or repeating tasks, I would grab it.
For a working mother that multi task most of the time, doing groceries online allows me to do more and focus my time in more productive task.
Honestbee gives me this opportunity.
Honestbee helps me escape from being stuck in traffic (since you do not need to drive to the supermarket), waiting in long parking lines especially during weekends, taking time in picking up the grocery items and queuing for payment at supermarket counters.
Though, availing of Honestbee services can be especially challenging for those who enjoy doing grocery shopping, you might still want to test their services and see how it can help you.
Honestbee claims that their service is 4.1x faster than doing the grocery shopping yourself.
I definitely agree to this based on my experience with them.
2. Honestbee Offers Convenience.
Honestbee enables you to do all your grocery shopping online at the comforts of your home or whenever you want.
Since I am a working mother, it helps that I can do my groceries at my fingertips even in the office during break and set the delivery date and time at my convenience.
You won’t anymore experience the stress of driving to the supermarket or going to food stores, physically lining up at checkout counters and waiting for your food to be prepared.
If you commute or walk to the supermarket, you will also save yourself from the burden of carrying those bulky groceries going back home.
3. Honestbee PH has a Referral Cashback Program.
Honestbee currently has a referral rewards program that will reward you ₱500 off for ₱1,000 spend if you manage to get a friend to sign up using your referral link and shops at Honestbee.
This reward will be at no additional cost for your friend but rather they will also be rewarded when they sign up using your referral link as they will get ₱500 off for ₱2,500 spend on their first grocery.
The reward is valid for one month from the date of its successful activation.
Most of the time, this type of referral program only happens during their early stage when they are new to a particular market and would need to have more customers using their service or if they are targeting to have greater brand awareness.

4. Honestbee saves you money.
Honestbee also helps you save money as you no longer need to drive (saves you money on gasoline) or pay fare for public transportation when going to the supermarket and back home.
You’ll also save money from paying parking fees.
Aside from the occasional coupon promo codes that Honestbee offers, you will also be able to save money as you will greatly resist the temptation of buying eye-pleasing stuff that you see at malls which you do not really need. 😀
Talking about fees, Honestbee charges you with a concierge or shopper fee.
You might ask, how much is honestbee’s concierge fee?
The concierge fee varies but for groceries, it is currently at ₱99.
Aside from this, Honestbee also has grocery or food delivery charge / fee.
Though, they do waive this fee if you reach a store’s minimum spend (minimum spend for stores varies).
As an example, if you purchase from Robinson’s Supermarket for a ₱2500 minimum order, your grocery delivery fee is waived.
Honestbee do not require any minimum order when purchasing but if you want to have free delivery, you might want to target reaching a store’s minimum spend when buying.
Take note also that each store will have their own separate delivery fee if you purchase in more than one store in a single transaction.
When it comes to the price tag of goods, Honestbee and supermarket prices are the same. They also offer discounted items.
You see, even though you have costs when you avail of Honestbee services, the total amount is still lower than your total cost when you do your own grocery shopping.
5. You can make advance orders for next day delivery.
You can have your orders as far as 7 days in advance.
Not all stores offer advance orders for next day deliveries but some stores have extended advance order window especially during special seasons like Christmas or New Year.
Honestbee delivery working hours are from 10am to 9pm daily but will vary depending on a store’s operating hours.
They also deliver during weekends and public holidays.
6. You can send deliveries to other addresses as well.
Honestbee allows you to change the address where your order will be delivered.
I can imagine that this feature is especially beneficial to OFWs who want to have grocery items delivered to their loved ones here locally instead of sending them cash.
7. Honestbee Philippines also offers Wet Market Concierge Services and Laundry pickup delivery.
Honestbee has also included wet market concierge services and laundry pickup delivery services in their offerings.
As of now, they are only partnered with Farmer’s Market in Cubao, Alabang Wet Market, Taboan Public Market and Pasay Wet Market for their wet market concierge services.
Although, I am optimistic that they will eventually have more partners in more coverage areas in the future.
8. You can pay in credit or cash.
Honestbee provides two modes of payment: Credit Card and Cash on Delivery (COD).
Credit card purchases can be through Visa or Master Card.
COD payment is ideal if you are not comfortable in paying using credit as you will only pay after you have received your order.
9. Honestbee is customer-centric.
Honestbee enables their users to either order online through their website or through their mobile app.
Honestbee users also have the option to leave specific instructions for the items that they will be purchasing.
Example of such instruction would be letting the personal shopper know how you would like your meat to be cut.
You can also specify what your personal shopper will do in case one of your item is out of stock: you can tell them to choose an item for you, concierge can suggest other items as a substitute or you can have that item cancelled from the grocery list.
Your Honestbee personal shopper also ensures that your purchased goods are still fresh and are not expired. Health safety should always be the number one priority.
10. Honestbee Philippines is expanding to new areas.
Having more coverage delivery areas is vital for Honestbee’s growth as their service is location based.
It is also logical that they would target traffic congested areas or locations with a growing population as those conditions would be much favorable to them.
We were not able to find a list of Honestbee coverage areas in their website but from what we have gathered, here are some areas which they are already present:

11. Honestbee PH has a growing list of partner stores.
As Honestbee continues to expand to new delivery areas, they also continue grow their merchant list.
Take note that the available merchants that will be made available to you would vary based on your location.
For their grocery delivery service, Honestbee Philippines primary grocery partner is Robinsons Supermarket.
For their other partners, you can check out their list of partner grocery merchants here.
We can’t find a complete list for their food partner merchants as it is being sorted per location but here are some of them: Frankies, KFC, Tokyo Tokyo, Kanto Freestyle, Goodah, Gong Cha, Racks, Gerry’s Grill, Banapple, Chooks to Go, S&R New York Style Pizza, Amici, Classic Savory, and many more.
12. Honestbee PH also has on-demand parcel pickup and delivery.
Honestbee Goodship or BeeXpress is their own version of a personal courier service.
You just need to buy a pouch and choose which day you want it delivered.
Looking at its offer, this can be ideal for local ecommerce stores who need their goods delivered to their customers.
It includes free insurance for up to ₱1000 item value. You can then buy additional insurance coverage if the item value is more than ₱1000.
