The Metro Rewards Card is a loyalty program that lets you earn points from your purchases from any Metro Stores.

It was a no brainer on our end to avail of this card as we are near Market! Market! where they have a branch via their Metro Supermarket.

We frequently buy our grocery items there so we just have to avail of this.

What are the Requirements to Apply for a Metro Rewards Card

Here are the requirements needed when applying for a Metro Rewards Card:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completely filled up application form.
• One valid ID.

How to Apply for Metro Rewards Club Card

Here are the steps on how to apply for a Metro Rewards Card:

Step 1: Get an application form from the cashier counter.

Step 2: Completely fill out the application form.

Step 3: Submit the accomplished application form to the customer service area.

Step 4: Pay the card fee of 150 pesos.

Step 5: Wait for your Metro Rewards Card as it will be printed right away with your contact information.

After getting your Metro Rewards Card, you can use it right away to avail of reward points from your purchases.

Take note that the card is not transferrable and that only the listed name on the card can use it.

The card is also only for individual consumers.

Business or corporations cannot avail of the card under their company.

Metro Rewards Card Membership Duration, Validity, Expiration and Renewal

The Metro Rewards Card is valid for two years from the date of issue.

Take note that the Metro Rewards Card has an expiration.

It needs to be renewed prior to the expiration date.

Good thing about it is that card holders will be notified 60 days prior to the expiration date.

They also provide 60 days grace period from its expiration date for you to have your card renewed.

After this period, your Metro rewards card will permanently be canceled.

All of the remaining points on your account will be forfeited.

So be mindful of the expiration date. It can be found below your name on the card.

How to Earn Metro Rewards Card Points

You do not need to do anything else in order to earn rewards points aside from your actual item purchase.

Every 200 pesos purchase in a Metro Department Store entitles you to 1 point.

For Supermarket purchases, you will earn 1 point for every 400 pesos purchase.

Always bring your card as you need to present it before or during the transaction in order to earn points.

You will not be entitled to the points if you do not have the Metro Rewards Card during the transaction.

There are some purchases that are not included from earning rewards points:

• When purchasing Metro gift cards.
• When purchasing products from any location or website which is not a Metro free-standing store.
• When purchasing products from concessionaires that are not owned by Metro but are only within the Metro facility or building.
• When the transaction is paid by redeeming your Metro Rewards Card points.

How to Redeem the Metro Rewards Points

During payment of a Metro store item, just present your Metro Rewards Card together with a valid ID at the cashier and instruct them that you want to use the points for the purchase.

Isn’t that easy? Although, you need to follow some guidelines when redeeming your points:

• Metro Rewards Card member need to show the actual card during redemption.
• Only the person indicated in the card can redeem the points.
• One point is equivalent to one peso (Php 1.00).
• Points can be used to purchase any item in any Metro store.
• Metro Rewards Card should not be expired at the time of redemption.
• The Metro Rewards Card needs to have a minimum balance of 50 points at the time of redemption.
• You also need to present a valid ID.
